This luxuriously soft scarf is handmade in Nepal out of woven cashmere.  Lightweight yet warm, you won't want to take this off.  It is crafted from basket weave cashmere with eyelash fringe. Wear it around your neck or wrap it around your shoulders - either way it's cozy and warm.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This scarf was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in Nepal. Cashmere yarn production is a primary source of income in the Himalayas. It comes from the mountain goats, who roam feely and are treated care and respect.  Their fur is combed by hand and the yarn is then hand woven by talented artisans.  This age old tradition helps Himalayan families have a sustainable livelihood.
