This colorful oven mitt set is handmade out of discarded scraps of vibrant African fabrics.  Each mitt is thickly cushioned and features a bright, unique patchwork design.

Measures approximately 1" long by 6.5" wide.  Comes in a set of 2.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This product was handmade by women artisans in a fair trade cooperative in Uganda. The artisans use traditional techniques combined with contemporary designs to create beautiful handmade items that appeal to the western market.  In addition to receiving excellent wages, they receive business training, healthcare and educational opportunities for their children.
