This delicate and stylish necklace features a tiny brass knot and is handmade by survivors of human trafficking.  The knot is said to symbolize unity, love, interconnectedness and eternity.  This beautiful little necklace looks great along or layered with other favorites. 

Chain measures approximately 16" long plus 1.5" extender chain, and features a lobster clasp closure.  Pendant measures 1/5" x  3/8."

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This beautiful jewelry is handmade by women in Uganda who are survivors of human trafficking.  Sex trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery, and the women who are rescued are often severely traumatized from their experience.  This program not only provides them with an income, it offers education, medical care, counseling and mentoring, thus empowering the women to live a life of freedom.
