ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This felted toy is made entirely by hand in a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal. The artisans are paid fair wages and have found their lives dramatically improved through the sale of their beautiful handicrafts.  They are taught business and design skills while using age-old traditional handwork techniques.
