These beautiful hot pads are handwoven out of recycled cotton sari fabric by women in India.  They come in sets of 3 tied with a ribbon, perfect for gift giving.

Each pad measures 6" by 6."

All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This item was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in India.  The artisans are vulnerable members of society who have found a new path towards self-sufficiency through fair trade practices. In addition to being paid excellent wages, they are provided with marketing, design, finance and exporting assistance.
