These adorable mini backpacks are great for young children to carry a few things with them for the day.  They are made out of handwoven multi-colored fabric and have adjustable straps and a zipper.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This jewelry was handmade by women in a fair trade cooperative in the highlands of Guatemala near Lake Atitlan.  Not only are the artisans paid fair wages, but they are able to work from home so that they can care for their children while earning a living wage. The artisans have greatly improved their standard of living through the sale of this beautiful jewelry.
