This beautiful cutting board is hand carved from mango wood with an etching of a bird on a branch. You can chop your ingredients on one side and flip it over to serve! It comes with a 4" hanging loop made of jute, so it can be hung up as an art piece when not in use. 

Measures 8.5" in length by 6" in width.

All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This cutting board was handmade by artisans in a fair trade cooperative in India.  In addition to fair wages the artisans receive benefits such as education and medical treatment for their families.  This is one of the longest running fair trade cooperatives, having started in 1986 in one room of a family house.  The artisans have become self-sufficient due to their steady income from fair trade practices.
